A magical New Years workshop with Manouk van der Meulen
In the end of the year we celebrate the Winter Solstice- the longest night and shortest day. It's also a period to active our intentions for the new year by turning inward, connecting to our heart’s desires, letting go of the things that no longer serve us.
It's important to prepare the body for these dynamic changes as well. Endings are beginnings in disguise. Even the saddest ending can be a beautiful beginning. Endings create space for new beginnings. On and off my mat, I have learned that I must experience endings in order to receive beginnings. With open hands and an open heart.
During the first part of the workshop we will work with 'Letting go' through some breathing exercises, grounding poses and hip openersto come to a place of liberating and "non-attachment."
Second part will be focusing on the heart with opening poses which can be a radical way to give you the confidence and energy you need to propel you forward in your successes and happiness for 2019.
All levels welcome.
